We’re using Directus to power our content and a custom API for the Public Health Atlas - a data & analytics platform for U.S. public health data. We’re just now making our first product on the atlas available - Carta - a public health mapping app. Would love the feedback from this community! And thank you Directus team for making and evolving such a fantastic product. It made our data & metadata management substantially easier!
Congrats, screenshot looks great!
Just in case the data should be publicly available, I get redirected to /login. (also on mobile the login form is shifted top out of screen!)
Thank you! There’s a login screen/requirement, but it’s a free account. Mainly for communicating data source issues when the arise. Definitely some mobile refactoring we need to do. The site is mainly geared toward a desktop audience (large maps, etc), so anything under a tablet won’t show very well for now. Also, data is not international yet (focused on the US for the time being).
I’m really excited to showcase the next version of this, which will expand what users can do with the platform, all with directus as our main backend.
Thanks so much for sharing, this is great! Is this using the Choropleth Map Panel Extension?Which AI is this working with?
We’re using a series of libraries for the frontend map. But we do use the backend map for data management. There’s a choropleth map panel extension???
As far as AI, we use multiple models from the usual suspects (gemini, openai, anthropic).
