Hi. I have two roles: Brand and Sub Brand. Brand role has a collection access with a selected list of fields in Field Permissions and Item Permission is set to only allow read for items which they have created or their Brand ID matches the collection’s Brand field.
Sub Brand role inherits from Brand which means all the Policies are brought into this role. But I need to only change the Item Permission of that collection which is different from Brand and keep the same Field Permissions.
The issue I am facing now is that the second policy is always preferred and the policies are not merged like the way it’s mentioned in Docs. Only the Sub Brand’s policy is used for Field Permissions and not the Brand’s.
I’m not sure if I completely understand how Directus Additive Rules apply to policies so looking for some advice on this. Thanks.
Note: The project was upgraded from v10 to 11.
