How to reproduce multiline text in kanban layout shown on this image? (taken from official directus docs). I tried fiddling with settings, tried different fields but no luck, directus keeps displaying one line of text.

The text on the kanban cards is currently hardcoded to a single line. Both the title and text fields are set to a fixed height with white-space: nowrap, so there’s no way to configure multiline display right now. That screenshot from the docs is from a couple versions ago and no longer reflects the current behavior..
I’ve opened a feature request on your behalf to get multiline text back on kanban cards
