This takes the official Directus MCP Server posted here: Official Directus MCP Server and reworks into an extension that runs straight on your Directus instance.
No more fiddling with NPM installations and environment variables on each device you try to wire up to Directus, just install the extension in your Directus instance, paste in a URL and your access token, and you’re good to go!
Supports the same capabilities of the official server.

Right now I’m still experimenting with it for all sorts of use-cases. Seems to be working pretty well with Claude Sonnet 4, but not well with most other models I’ve tried.
